Since it's mostly the same (there's a couple variations on at least one map), RPF is a huge help/reminder and their start locations can be memorized making the torps easy to avoid. It's just the next wave of ships coming in. Of course there's many more of them and this is where the difficulty ramps up a bit.ģ: Torps don't come from nowhere. Rewards are decent imo.Ģ: Bots are much better than coop bots, but still worse than average players. For better results play with a friend who knows what they're doing too.ġ: Definitely not particularly tough unless you're comparing it to coop. In short, based on my recent (and small amount) of experience, it seems good for xp/credits because you can win significantly more than Random. I'd highly recommend it for serious Ops play. RPF is a huge help as it's a reminder where the next "wave" is coming from. The frustrating part is that half your team either hasn't done it before or more likely, can't be bothered to remember where the bots come from and get themselves killed screwing you over as, no matter how good you are, one player can't complete it most of the time. Once you've played it once or twice you know where the bots show up and thereby know how to avoid their torpedo waves etc. Also for me at least, a downside is it's entirely predictable. The downside is some ships won't be able to do well in Ops. Much better than coop bots, but regularly getting 5+ kills on them makes them not nearly as good as average players either. The bots seem to be equivalent to very bad players. Roughly equivalent to random or ranked if your team does well. My takeaway was it's quite good for xp/credits. But I wanted to win more than 50% of the time such as Random :) I won almost every time but did not 5 star every time. I needed xp off a win for a mission and coop rewards are so little. I don't usually - so it was something different. I was just playing a string of them the other day.
